Protein & Conjugate Stabilizers
unparalleled long-term stability
The Surmodics™ StabilZyme™ family provides unparalleled long-term stability of protein conjugates at working strength concentrations for immunoassay development. Our formulations for HRP conjugates, AP conjugates and general protein applications ensure that assay developers have a complete set of tools to address the labile nature of each protein of interest.Learn More about how to determin protein stability Shop All Products
HRP Conjugate Stability (>2 years)
StabilZyme™ HRP, StabilZyme™ Protein-Free and StabilZyme™ NOBLE stabilizers provide the assay developer a complete set of tools to stabilize different HRP conjugates for long term, in-solution stability.
Outstanding retained activity. Accelerated stability projections demonstrate at least 85% retained activity for greater than 2 years using StabilZyme™ HRP and StabilZyme™ Protein-Free Stabilizers.
The accelerated stability tests used horseradish peroxidase conjugates diluted in each stabilizer. 81 days of accelerated stability testing is equivalent to 2+ years of real-time stability.
StabilZyme™ SELECT stabilizer is a general purpose in-solution protein stabilizer that can be used for HRP conjugates, standards and controls in immunoassay applications.Learn More about Protein stabilizers
Superior real-time stability. A monoclonal IgG-HRP conjugate demonstrates over 90% retained activity with StabilZyme™ HRP Stabilizer and over 75% retained activity with StabilZyme® SELECT Stabilizer.
The real-time stability tests used a monoclonal IgG- horseradish peroxidase conjugate diluted in each stabilizer and stored at room temperature for 2 years.
HRP Conjugate Stability (2 years)
AP Conjugate Stability
StabilZyme™ AP and StabilZyme™ Protein-Free AP stabilizers provide assay developers a complete set of tools to stabilize different AP conjugates for long term, in-solution stability.
Outstanding retained activity for AP. Accelerated stability projections demonstrate at least 80% retained activity for greater than 1.5 years using StabilZyme™ AP and StabilZyme™ Protein-Free AP Stabilizers.
The accelerated stability tests used monoclonal and polyclonal antibody-alkaline phosphatase conjugates diluted in each stabilizer. 56 days of accelerated stability testing is equivalent to 1.5+ years of real-time stability.
