NEW Tri a 14.0101

Tri a 14.0101, a non-specific lipid transfer protein (snLTP), is a major wheat (Triticum aestivum) allergen. Sensitization to this allergen is associated with baker’s asthma, a frequent occupational allergic disease caused mainly by inhalation of cereal flour, particularly wheat flour. The protein involves four helical fragments and irregular and stable C-terminal regions which are highly stable to heat treatment and proteolytic attack. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.
