TIF1 gamma

Transcriptional intermediary factor 1-gamma (TIF1 gamma), originally named p155 and synonymous for p155/140 and TRIM33, is a nuclear protein that functions as a mono-ubiquitin ligase for Smad4, a TGF-β signal transducer, leading to its inactivation. Consequently, the TGF-β signaling pathway, a major pathway for control of cell growth and differentiation, is downregulated. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Origin
Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus; AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
Biochemical Test
SDS-PAGE (purity > 80%); Western blot with i: anti-TIF1 gamma autoantibody-positive sample; ii: monoclonal anti-His-tag antibody.
