In eukaryotic cells, the Sm-proteins B/B’, D1, D2, D3, E, F, and G form a heteroheptameric protein core shared between all uracil-rich small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (U-snRNP) complexes. SmD2 completes the list of SmD proteins offered by DIARECT. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus; AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
