Sm (non recombinant; bovine)

U-small nuclear riboprotein complexes (U-snRNPs), a pivotal component of spliceosomes, are formed between small non-coding nuclear RNAs and a protein moiety. Seven different Sm proteins aggregate into a heteroheptameric protein core, which is conserved between the different U-snRNP subclasses. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Origin
Native. Purified from bovine tissues by protein-chemical methods.
Biochemical Test
SDS-PAGE (purity> 70%); Western blot with anti-Sm autoantibody-positive sample.
Coating Concentration
0.4-0.8 µg/ml (depending on the type of ELISA plate and coating buffer). Suitable for labeling of functional groups.
