Proteinase 3 (PR3; non recombinant)

Proteinase 3 (PR3) is a serine protease stored in cytoplasmic azurophilic granules of neutrophil granulocytes, where it is involved in the degradation of microorganisms within the phagolysosomes. In addition, PR3 contributes to the destruction of pathogens in the extracellular environment. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Origin
Native. Isolated from human peripheral blood leukocytes.
Biochemical Test
SDS-PAGE; capillary electrophoresis (purity > 80% in the sum of different glycosylation isoforms according to following section); Western blot with rabbit anti-PR3 antisera and mouse anti-PR3 monoclonal antibodies.
Apparent Molecular Weight
approx. 25 kDa to 32 kDa ( due to glycosylation isoforms).
Coating Concentration
0.5-1.0 µg/ml (depending on the type of ELISA plate and coating buffer). Suitable for labeling of functional groups.
