Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA)

Proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA; syn. Cyclin) is a co-factor of DNA polymerase delta, forms homotrimers around double stranded DNA, and is involved in DNA replication and repair. Since its expression rate correlates with the rate of DNA replication, PCNA is a proliferation marker in basic research. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Origin
Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus; AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
