NXP2

NXP2, also known as MORC3, localizes to the nuclear matrix. This 140kDa protein is involved in the regulation of the tumor suppressor protein p53. NXP2 serves as a diagnostic marker for dermatomyositis (DM) as autoantibodies against this protein have been isolated from patients and found to be directly involved in pathogenesis. Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus; AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
