Mal d 3.0101, a non-specific lipid transfer protein (nsLTP), is a major apple (Malus domestica) allergen. LTPs are found mainly in aerial plant organs such as leaves, seeds, flowers, and fruit. The heat-stable protein is characterized by having resistance to pepsin hydrolysis. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus; AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
