Mitochondrial 2-oxo acid dehydrogenase multienzyme complexes play a pivotal role in the regulation of the cellular redox state. M2 is the synonym for a cellular antigen comprising the E2-subunits of distinct dehydrogenase complexes, namely PDC-E2, OGDC-E2, and BCOADC-E2. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Origin
Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus; AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
Biochemical Test
SDS-PAGE (purity> 75%); Western blot with i: anti-M2 autoantibody­positive sample; ii: monoclonal anti­His-tag antibody.
