Glutamate Decarboxylase 65 kDa (GAD65; ng)

The 65kDa-enzyme glutamate decarboxylase (GAD65; ng) catalyzes the decarboxylation of glutamate to gamma-aminobutyrate (GABA). In human cells, GAD65 localizes to the vicinity of the Golgi apparatus and vesicles containing GABA. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Origin
Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
Biochemical Test
SDS PAGE (Purity > 80%); Western blot with anti-GAD65 autoantibody postive patient sample.

Calculated Isoelectric Point
pH 6.64
Coating Concentration
0.35-0.6 µg/ml (depending on the type of ELISA plate and coating buffer). Suitable for labeling of functional groups.
