DNA Topoisomerase I (Scl-70; truncated)

DNA Topoisomerase I is an enzyme that adjusts the supercoiling stage of DNA to resolve torsional stress occurring during DNA transcription and replication. Proteolytical processing matures the 100 kDa precursor into the 70 kDa form. Scl-70 truncated corresponds to the mature 70 kDa form. DIARECT™ antigens are for further manufacturing or research use only.

Origin
Recombinant. Expressed by recombinant baculovirus (Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosis virus; AcMNPV) infection of Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9 insect cells.
Biochemical Test
SDS-PAGE (purity> 80%); Western blot with i: anti-Scl-70 autoantibodypositive sample; ii: monoclonal antiHis-tag antibody.
