The Gram-negative bacterium Borreliella burgdorferi is one of the pathogens of the Borreliella burgdorferi sensu lato complex causing Lyme disease. Borreliella burgdorferi p66 is an outer membrane spanning protein alternatively named Oms66 that has a dual function in forming porins and being involved in host cell attachment by binding to ?v?3-integrins.
